127 Super slides are made from 127 film and have a viewable image of 40 x 40 mm (or 38 x 38 mm or 36 x 36 mm) in a 2-inch (50.8 mm) slide mount.  127 roll film was introduced in 1912 for the Kodak Vest Pocket Camera.  127 film is 46 mm wide and has an image area of 1600 mm2.

120 / 220 Medium format slides are non-standard LARGE size and have a viewable area of 2-1/8" x 2-1/8", 60mm x 60mm in a  2.75" x 2.75", 70mm x 70mm slide mount.
